It's no secret I took heavy inspiration from the popular game Vampire Survivors. JOATS in it's current state is a pretty bare bones demo showing the core mechanics of the game. I intend to expand the mechanics and combine genres to create a brand new style of game.

I will be spending all of my free time polishing and implementing new and better features over time.

Any donations are very welcome but absolutely not necessary!

Upcoming features:

• Upgrade system so you can begin a level with better equipment.
• More abilities with a wide range of utility.
• More diverse and challenging monsters, ghouls, goblins or whatever else I can muster.
• Perhaps a christmas themed level if there is a desire for it.
• More characters. The characters will have varying stats and skills, allowing for emergent gameplay.
• Adding feature requests if I think they'd fit with the style of the game.

Goals for the future:

• Create an art style not seen in most games of this era, a throwback to the 1990s-2000s with hand crafted pixel art.
• Make the art cohesive across all aspects of the game. Currently the pixel density, even across the characters, is wildly different.
• Create better music which is again, cohesive across all the levels and menus. i'm no audio engineer, so the current songs are quite, well, crap.
